03:47 PM EDT, 08/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- BWX Technologies (BWXT) shares rose 1.8% in Thursday trading, a day after the company was selected to deploy its nuclear technology for the US Army's Janus program. Under the contract, the company will provide its BWXT Advanced Nuclear Reactor technology in support of the Army's initiative to deliver reliable, resilient energy for national defense missions and critical installations.
