TFS Financial Raises Dividend by 12%

TFS Financial raised its quarterly dividend by 12%, to 31.75 cents a share, from 28.25 cents a share.
The new payout, equal to $1.27 a year, represents an annual yield of about 7.1% based on Thursday's closing price of $17.91.
The dividend is payable on Sept. 23 to stockholders of record on Sept. 9, the holding company said.
The company additionally said that Third Federal Savings and Loan Association of Cleveland, its mutual holding company that owns 81% of its outstanding shares, has waived its right to receive the dividend on its shares.
