Autodesk (ADSK.US) financial report reveals “AI anxiety” among software stocks: Q3 and full-year earnings guidance below expectations, acquisition of MaintainX drags on profits

For the three months ended July 31, the company achieved revenue of $2.05 billion, a year-on-year increase of 16%, surpassing analysts' expectations of $2.01 billion. Adjusted earnings per share reached $3.30, also far exceeding the market expectation of $3.12. The GAAP operating margin increased by about 4 percentage points year-on-year to 29%, while the non-GAAP operating margin rose to 41%. Free cash flow surged by 24% to $561 million.
