Critical Metals Says Statement for Proposed Acquisition of European Lithium Lodged With ASIC

09:10 AM EDT, 08/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Critical Metals' (CRML) proposed acquisition target, European Lithium, confirmed the submission of a draft copy of the explanatory statement for their planned deal with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, the company said Friday. The first court hearing related to Critical Metals' planned acquisition of European Lithium has been scheduled for Sept. 15, and during the hearing, European Lithium will seek orders to convene separate meetings of its shareholders and optionholders to vote on the transaction. The meetings are slated for mid-October, Critical Metals added.
