White House Cuts Deal to Lower Prescription Drug Prices With Nine Companies

05:57 AM EDT, 09/01/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The White House made nine new agreements with pharmaceutical manufacturers to bring prescription drug prices for Americans down to the lowest prices paid by other developed nations, it said on Monday. The nine manufacturers include Teva Pharmaceuticals (TEVA), BridgeBio (BBIO), Alcon (ALC), BeOne Medicines (ONC), Astellas Pharma, CSL, Kyowa Kirin, Sun Pharma, and UCB, the White House said. The drugs include treatments for hemophilia, Parkinson's disease, macular degeneration, glaucoma, liver disease, skin conditions, and various forms of cancers, the White House said.
