BillionToOne Launches New Liquid Biopsy Test to Help Identify Tissue of Origin

10:14 AM EDT, 09/01/2026 (MT Newswires) -- BillionToOne (BLLN) has launched Northstar Origin, a new liquid biopsy add-on test that predicts tissue of origin directly from circulating cell-free DNA for patients with cancer of unknown primary or uncertain cancer diagnosis, the company said Tuesday. The molecular diagnostics company said it has also expanded its Northstar Select panel to 102 genes from 84, to cover genes that are included in recent and upcoming US Food and Drugs Administration approvals.
