aTyr Pharma Updates Timing of FDA Response for Planned Phase 3 Trial of Efzofitimod

05:10 PM EDT, 09/01/2026 (MT Newswires) -- aTyr Pharma (ATYR) said Tuesday that based on feedback from the US Food and Drug Administration, it now expects to receive a response by mid-September on the protocol it submitted for a planned phase 3 trial of efzofitimod to treat pulmonary sarcoidosis. The planned phase 3 trial is expected to enroll up to about 372 patients with symptomatic pulmonary sarcoidosis with restrictive lung disease, the company said.
