Cardano Price Climbs 4.21% Before RealFi October 1 Mainnet Launch
- Cardano price rises 4.21% to $0.206 after the TD Sequential prints a daily buy signal.
- Earlier TD Sequential signals preceded ADA rallies of 44.5%, 11.5% and 50.9%.
- RealFi plans to launch asset-backed USDr on Cardano mainnet on October 1.
Cardano price rose 4.21% in 24 hours to $0.206, extending a recovery from the $0.19 area. The move follows a fresh TD Sequential buy signal on ADA’s daily chart. Traders are also watching RealFi’s planned October 1 mainnet launch. The platform will introduce USDr, a stablecoin backed by real-world assets, on Cardano.
Cardano price gains support from a daily buy signal
Earlier signals preceded notable ADA rallies. The June 25 signal came before a 44.5% rise. Signals on July 15 and August 18 preceded gains of 11.5% and 50.9%.
Those results describe past performance and do not confirm another advance. Cardano price must first hold above the recent $0.1921 daily low. A move beyond $0.2074 would clear the top of CoinGecko’s reported 24-hour range.
ADA also trades about 93% below its $3.10 peak from September 2021. It would need to rise roughly 1,405% from $0.206 to revisit that record.
RealFi mainnet launch adds a dated network catalyst
RealFi says its product will move from public testnet to mainnet on October 1. The protocol will issue USDr, a dollar stablecoin backed by real-world assets and productive capital.
RealFi opened its public testnet in July for users, developers and institutional participants. The testing covers swaps, staking and unstaking before production deployment.
RealFi says users can swap ADA or USDC for USDr through partner decentralized exchanges. Users may also stake USDr for sUSDr, which links returns to the reserve portfolio. The project lists Treasuries, money-market funds and private credit among its backing assets.
Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson said the platform “is gonna bring a lot of TVL to Cardano.” Cardano price also advanced while the Foundation reviewed the network’s five development eras.
Byron established the foundation, while Shelley expanded decentralization. Goguen introduced smart contracts, Basho focused on scaling, and Voltaire added community governance.
