Philip Morris Expands Zyn Nicotine Pouch Lineup, Adds More Pouches Per Can

Philip Morris International is beefing up its lineup of Zyn nicotine pouches -- and the number of patches in a single can.
The company said Wednesday that it is beginning to sell its flagship Zyn dry pouches in 1.5mg and 8mg strengths, adding to existing offerings at 3mg and 6mg strengths. It is also launching Zyn Ultra, a pouch with a higher moisture content than the flagship product, at 9mg and 11mg strengths.
PMI also said that it will transition to having 20 pouches per can for its 3mg and 6mg products during the fourth quarter, up from the 15 pouches in a typical can.
"Together, these products recognize that preferences are not one-size-fits-all: Legal-age adults looking to switch from cigarettes or other nicotine products should be provided with options, including a range of different nicotine levels, flavor profiles, and formats," the company said.
