09:12 AM EDT, 09/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Technology stocks were falling premarket Monday, with the State Street Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) down 2.6% and the iShares Semiconductor ETF (SOXX) declining by 5.6%. SK Hynix (SKHY) and Samsung Electronics rejected a 25 trillion won ($18.58 billion) advance payment proposal from the state-run Korea Electric Power, or KEPCO, to support power supplies for planned semiconductor mega clusters, multiple news outlets reported, citing a document submitted to a lawmaker. SK Hynix stock was down 7.8% pre-bell. Nvidia (NVDA) is negotiating to become an anchor investor in Anthropic's potential initial public offering, Reuters reported, citing two people familiar with the matter. Shares of Nvidia were down nearly 3% premarket. Oracle (ORCL) shares were down 4.7% after the company said Larry Ellison, its executive chair and chief technology officer, has canceled his plan to sell Oracle shares.
