09:00 AM EDT, 09/22/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Consumer stocks were rising premarket Tuesday, with the State Street Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLP) 0.4% higher and the State Street Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLY) up 0.7%. Shopify (SHOP) will incorporate Meta Platforms' (META) Muse agentic AI into its checkout options, Shopify Chief Executive Tobias Lutke said in a post on social media platform X. Shopify stock was up more than 5% pre-bell.
