09:04 AM EDT, 09/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Financial stocks were edging higher pre-bell Thursday, with the State Street Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLF) advancing by 0.2%. The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was up 0.2% and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was 0.2% lower. Blackstone (BX) launched its Blackstone Private Markets Fund, or BXPM, a perpetual flagship strategy that gives eligible non-US investors access to its private-markets platform through a single allocation, the company said. Shares of Blackstone were down more than 2% premarket.
