Update: WhiteHawk Minerals Closes $111.8 Million in Acquisitions

WhiteHawk Minerals (WHK) said Friday it has closed acquisitions totaling $111.8 million, including the purchase of $105 million worth of royalty assets from San Jacinto Minerals II. The transactions were financed with proceeds from a $50 million issuance of shares of its Series E preferred stock and a $75 million private placement of its Class A common stock, the company said. WhiteHawk said the acquired Marcellus, Utica and Haynesville Shale natural gas mineral and royalty assets cover about 700,000 gross unit acres and 11,810 net royalty acres, with an average net revenue interest of 0.21%. The Marcellus and Utica assets span 600,000 gross unit acres anchored by EQT (EQT), Range Resources (RRC), CNX Resources (CNX) and Antero Resources (AR), while Haynesville interests span 100,000 gross unit acres anchored by Expand Energy (EXE), Apex Energy and Adamas Energy, the company said. The company said it now has more than 1,700 producing wells, 245 wells in progress and permits, and 2,500 undeveloped locations. Additionally, the company said it has increased the borrowing capacity of its reserve-based revolving credit facility to $175 million.
