According to Golden Ten Data APP, on Friday, Microsoft (MSFT.US) rose sharply at the start of trading, with a gain of about 2.6% as of press time, bringing its market capitalization to 3.8 trillion US dollars. In related news, Microsoft announced the launch of a new version of Copilot, adding three core capabilities: Home, Code, and Autopilot. The goal is to expand the AI assistant from a conversational tool to an intelligent agent capable of executing tasks, building applications, and working continuously. Home will become the new entry point for Copilot, integrating Chat and Cowork features, and will directly incorporate Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint into the Copilot experience, allowing users to collaborate on these apps without leaving the AI tool.

The Code feature will allow users to create applications, tracking tools, data dashboards, and automated workflows using natural language. It is based on the same underlying technology as GitHub Copilot and will be gradually introduced through Microsoft’s Frontier project. Autopilot, previously codenamed Scout, is Microsoft’s digital agent that can continuously carry out tasks even without active user intervention, including follow-up communications, process management, meeting scheduling, and project advancement. This feature will be expanded to a private preview stage by the end of September.
