Expert Presents BlackRock XRP Endgame. Here’s What Happened
BlackRock’s latest research into artificial intelligence and digital assets has given Digital Asset Investor another reason to examine the investment firm’s relationship with the crypto industry.
In a video posted alongside his tweet, he linked BlackRock’s research on AI-driven demand for digital assets to his belief that major companies understood crypto and artificial intelligence from their early stages. He also focused on XRP and BlackRock’s head of digital assets, Robert Mitchnick, who previously worked at Ripple.
BlackRock Explores AI And Digital Assets
Digital Asset Investor opened the video by referencing BlackRock’s latest research on the relationship between AI and digital assets. He said BlackRock’s research examines how broader AI adoption could create new demand for digital assets.
“Look, according to BlackRock, they’re just figuring it out. Their latest research explores the growing connection between AI and digital assets and explains why broad AI adoption may drive new demand,” he said.
Digital Asset Investor then connected BlackRock’s research to his broader view of the crypto and AI industries. He said he believes BlackRock and other major entities helped develop both sectors from the beginning.
“I contend that BlackRock and others were involved in crypto and AI creation from the very get-go,” he said.
Digital Asset Investor Focuses On XRP
Digital Asset Investor narrowed his comments to XRP. He said he believes BlackRock has been involved with XRP since the asset’s early stages.
“And I think specifically XRP BlackRock’s been involved in since early on,” he said.
The video does not establish that BlackRock participated in XRP’s creation or early development. Digital Asset Investor presented the claim as his own belief and used BlackRock’s current research as part of the broader point he wanted to make about the company’s relationship with digital assets.
He also noted Robert Mitchnick, BlackRock’s head of digital assets, as another part of his reasoning.
Robert Mitchnick’s Ripple Background
Digital Asset Investor specifically referenced Mitchnick’s previous connection to Ripple. He said Mitchnick’s background is significant because of his current role at BlackRock and his earlier work at the company behind XRP.
“It’s not a coincidence the guy that runs BlackRock’s digital assets came from Ripple, Robert Mitchnick,” Digital Asset Investor said.
He then emphasized his belief that BlackRock and other major participants have understood the crypto sector for a long time. “Write it down. They’ve known a long, long time,” he added.
Digital Asset Investor concluded by reiterating his broader belief about the origins of the crypto and AI industries. “I believe they were involved in the creation of all of this,” he said.
His comments therefore connect three points: BlackRock’s research into AI and digital assets, his belief that the firm has maintained an early connection with XRP, and Mitchnick’s professional background at Ripple. The video presents these points as part of Digital Asset Investor’s broader view of BlackRock’s role in developing the digital asset industry.
