Lee Jae-yong, Choi Tae-won, and Jensen Huang to meet in New York, focusing on HBM collaboration

According to the Seoul Economic Daily, Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong, SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won, and NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang will meet again in New York, USA. It has been about two months since the three last met. According to sources in Korea’s financial sector on the 27th, Lee Jae-yong and Chey Tae-won plan to attend the annual dinner of the Korea Society in New York at 18:00 on the 28th. Jensen Huang will also attend the event as this year’s recipient of the Korea Society’s Van Fleet Award. HBM will be the main focus of the three men's discussion at this meeting. The New York meeting may also cover Samsung’s other strong business areas such as wafer foundry and advanced packaging. Some observers expect that the scope of cooperation discussed may not be limited to HBM, and could expand to areas such as the AI transformation of chip production facilities and robotics in the field of physical AI.
