Sector Update: Healthcare Stocks Lean Lower Premarket Monday

09:19 AM EDT, 09/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Healthcare stocks were leaning lower premarket Monday, with the iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) declining by 0.6% and the State Street Health Care Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLV) down 0.1%. Kodiak Sciences (KOD) stock was up more than 90% after the company said its two experimental eye drugs, Zenkuda and tabirafusp-ted, met the primary endpoints in a phase 3 study in patients with wet age-related macular degeneration. Inventiva (IVA) shares were down more than 2% after the company reported a narrower H1 net loss, while revenue fell during the period. Tandem Diabetes Care (TNDM) said its Mobi automated insulin delivery system is now available in 12 countries outside the US, including the UK, Germany, Italy, Spain and Switzerland. Shares of Tandem Diabetes Care were down more than 1% pre-bell.
