Sei’s tokenized-stock push gained momentum as the SEI token rallied 17.85%, with stronger market activity and expanding real-world asset exposure.
In particular, Dinari’s partnership with Sei introduced more than 700 tokenized U.S. stocks onto the network’s blockchain ecosystem.
Alongside the price expansion, SEI’s trading volume also responded with a 128% increase to $193.6M over 24 hours, reflecting considerable market participation.
Ecosystem liquidity expands alongside activity
Sei’s DeFi liquidity was reinforced as its Total Value Locked (TVL) expanded to $41.71 million following the recent price advance.
The TVL registered a notable increase of 6.62% within 24 hours, suggesting renewed capital deployment across applications running on the network.
Market positioning, however, revealed a more complicated outlook around SEI’s rapid price recovery.
Sellers persist despite exchange outflows
According to CoinGlass, SEI had recorded $323.81K in spot net outflows at reporting time, continuing the broader exchange withdrawal pattern visible throughout the year.
These negative netflows implied that more tokens were leaving exchanges rather than entering during the 24-hour period.
Contrastingly, the taker activity suggested that sellers remained aggressive despite the declining exchange supply. Specifically, the Spot Taker CVD indicator remained seller-dominant, reflecting continued market selling.
Futures traders reflected similar positioning, with the Futures Taker CVD metric also remaining seller-dominant.
Can SEI extend its structural breakout?
On the weekly technical structure, SEI broke above its descending channel before clearing the $0.07670 resistance level. The breakout confirmed a bullish change of character after an extended period of a downtrend move.
The token then subsequently pushed towards the $0.08166 area, rapidly pushing away from its former channel resistance.
It is worth noting that the CHoCH marked a significant structural change after an extended period of declining prices. Notably, the weekly chart exposed the $0.12 price level as the next major zone of interest.
Ultimately, SEI’s breakout gained support from the growing ecosystem liquidity, tokenized-stock exposure, and reduced exchange supply.
However, seller-dominated taker activity remained the main counterweight, but if bulls defend the $0.07670 support, SEI could extend its price rally towards $0.12.
