FMC Files Rimisoxafen for Regulatory Review in Brazil

05:29 PM EDT, 09/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- FMC (FMC) said late Monday it has submitted the regulatory dossier for its herbicide rimisoxafen to Brazilian regulatory authorities, its second global filing. Rimisoxafen is the first and only dual mode of action herbicide, the company said, adding that it submitted to the US Environmental Protection Agency in July 2026. In field testing, rimisoxafen showed consistent activity against small seeded broadleaf weeds and those resistant to other herbicides, including Amaranthus palmeri and Amaranthus hybridus, FMC said.
