08:16 AM EDT, 09/29/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Morgan Stanley (MS) has established a Digital Asset Lab to test stablecoins, tokenization and decentralized finance applications as it explores blockchain-based systems across its business, Bloomberg reported Tuesday. The lab is part of Morgan Stanley's innovation network, which tests emerging technologies before they interact with core systems, with up to 270 projects run annually, the report cited Megan Brewer, who leads market innovation and labs at the firm, as saying in an interview. Morgan Stanley's digital-asset team, led by Amy Oldenburg, plans to test tokenized deposits, central-bank digital currencies and tokenized money-market funds, the report said.
