Bell Canada, Cisco Sign MoU to Collaborate on Sovereign AI Infrastructure Offering in Canada

09:24 AM EDT, 09/29/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Bell Canada (BCE) and Cisco (CSCO) said Tuesday that they have signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on a sovereign artificial intelligence infrastructure offering in Canada. The collaboration will combine Bell's data centre, network and operations capabilities with Cisco's artificial intelligence, infrastructure monitoring and management, and Sovereign Critical Infrastructure technologies, the companies said. The companies said they will focus on building a Canadian platform for sovereign AI, supporting modular AI infrastructure deployments and developing flexible commercial models.
