Wave Life Sciences Earns $12 Million Milestone as GSK Advances Liver Drug

07:59 AM EDT, 09/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Wave Life Sciences (WVE) said Wednesday that GSK (GSK) selected a liver disease drug candidate from their research partnership to advance into its development pipeline. Wave will receive a $12 million milestone payment and remains eligible for up to $375 million in development and commercial milestones per project, along with tiered sales royalties, the company said. Wave Life Sciences is advancing three other joint programs toward potential candidate selection, the company said. Shares of Wave Life Sciences were up 7.4% in Wednesday premarket activity.
