Synopsys, OpenAI Sign Multi-Year Deal to Develop AI Model for Chip Design

The multi-year agreement includes a revenue-sharing arrangement and go-to-market collaboration to offer the model to customers worldwide, according to the company. The companies said early technology engagements are underway with leading semiconductor customers, adding that customer data will not be used to train the model.
