As of the close of trading that day, the price of light crude oil futures for November delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange rose by $1.04, settling at $90.42 per barrel, an increase of 1.16%. The price of Brent crude oil futures for November delivery in London rose by $0.94, settling at $103.53 per barrel, an increase of 0.92%.
