Inseego Closes Acquisition of Nokia's Fixed Wireless Access Business

05:38 AM EDT, 10/01/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Inseego (INSG) completed the acquisition of Nokia's (NOK) fixed wireless access business, the company said Thursday. The deal will roughly double Inseego's revenue and broaden its global wireless broadband reach, the company said. Under the deal and Nokia's previously announced $10 million cash investment, Nokia received an 11% equity stake in Inseego and warrants to buy an additional 0.8 million shares, Inseego said. Nokia will provide an additional $10 million by Oct. 15 to support Inseego's engineering investment, the company added. Inseego and Nokia shares were up 7% and 1% respectively, in premarket activity.

A federal judge in New York has ruled that USA Today, Daily Mail, and a collective of about 5,000 publishers may each seek compensation of $900 millions, $600 millions, and $1.7 billions, respectively. The judge rejected Google's objections regarding the calculation of compensation amounts in the ruling. Google stated that the judge also dismissed some publishers' claims related to another ad purchasing tool and will defend itself in court against the remaining lawsuits.
