STARZ (STRZ) said that Verizon (VZ) Fios customers have lost access to all STARZ channels, STARZ On Demand and the STARZ app. "Despite extensive efforts by STARZ to reach a renewal agreement and preserve uninterrupted access for Verizon Fios customers, Verizon has chosen to remove STARZ," Alison Hoffman, president of STARZ Networks, said in a statement Thursday. "We stand ready to reach a fair agreement that restores STARZ to Verizon customers as quickly as possible." A spokesperson for Verizon told MT Newswires that while the company negotiated in good faith to ensure fair pricing for its customers, STARZ insisted on rate terms that do not reflect current market conditions.
