01:31 PM EDT, 10/01/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Mattel (MAT) plans to open its first Mattel Wonder Indoor Waterpark in Bellevue, Nebraska, at the end of 2027. The 100,000-square-foot park will feature attractions themed around Barbie, Hot Wheels, Fisher-Price and UNO, and will be run by American Resort Management, Mattel said Thursday in a statement. Construction is under way within Bellevue's Good Life District. Mattel has confirmed additional waterpark locations in Orlando, Florida; Bradley, Illinois; and Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina.
