MT newswireMT newswire2026/10/02 08:33
04:33 AM EDT, 10/02/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Anthropic is set to meet prospective investors Oct. 14 as the AI firm prepares for a potential November listing, Bloomberg News reported Thursday, citing people familiar with the matter. Invitations for the pre-IPO session at the company's San Francisco headquarters were recently sent to select institutional investors, giving them an opportunity to question senior executives ahead of formal marketing expected to begin the week of Nov. 9, according to the report. Investors are considering a valuation in a range of $1.8 trillion to $2 trillion for the developer of the Claude generative AI chatbot, sources told Bloomberg. Anthropic didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment. (Market Chatter news is derived from conversations with market professionals globally. This theoretically still allows OPEC+ to discuss the related results at the plenary meeting in late November. The independent capacity assessment results will directly affect the production caps approved for each member country, and some member countries have already shown significant disagreements regarding quotas, putting pressure on the alliance’s stability.
