New York oil prices closed down 1.84%, Brent fell 1.89%

At the close of the day, the price of light crude oil futures for November delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange fell by $1.68 to $89.43 per barrel, a decrease of 1.84%. The price of Brent crude oil futures for December delivery in London dropped by $1.93, settling at $100.32 per barrel, a decline of 1.89%.
