Weakening sell pressure inside the $2,705-$2,730 imbalance keeps $2,750 and $2,810 in focus if buyers establish acceptance above supply.
| CHART PRICE | FOUR-HOUR SIGNAL | POC | UPSIDE REFERENCE |
| $2,718.81 | Weakening sell pressure | $2,750 | $2,810 |
Ethereum is testing short-term supply after recovering from the October 2 decline. At press time, CoinGecko data placed Ether at $2,718.10, within a 24-hour range of $2,692.54 to $2,736.97. Buyers have since pushed the price back into the $2,705-$2,730 zone, although sustained acceptance above its upper boundary has not yet developed.
Meanwhile, weaker sell deltas indicate that aggressive sellers are generating less downward pressure. At the same time, repeated support near the lower boundary is consistent with passive bids absorbing incoming sell orders.
However, candlestick data alone cannot confirm iceberg orders, as footprint or order-book data would be required for verification. Still, the broader price action confirms a recovery into the current supply zone. Ether closed at $2,667.95 on October 2 before rising to $2,725.91 by October 4.
Next-session focus: Can ETH secure acceptance above $2,730, reclaim the $2,750 POC, and open the path toward $2,810 buy-side liquidity?
The $2,750 point of control is the next major hurdle, as it represents the highest-volume price within the profiled range. At roughly $2,718, ETH was about 1.1% below that level. However, a brief move above the imbalance alone would not confirm acceptance.
Instead, a sustained four-hour close above approximately $2,730 would provide stronger evidence that buyers have cleared the recent supply zone. If ETH’s price holds above that area, attention would then shift toward $2,750. A successful reclaim would indicate that ETH is gaining acceptance above the high-volume reference rather than merely sweeping resistance.
Beyond $2,750, the chart places the main upside liquidity reference near $2,810, about 3.4% above the $2,718 area. Moreover, that level sits above the late-September highs and the Q3-to-Q4 transition. As a result, it forms a visible buy-side liquidity reference above the current trading range.
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});| LEVEL | ROLE IN THE CURRENT SETUP |
| $2,810 | Primary buy-side liquidity objective |
| $2,750 | Point of Control and breakout test |
| $2,730 | Imbalance ceiling and acceptance trigger |
| $2,700 | Immediate support area |
| $2,665-$2,670 | Recovery base and invalidation zone |
Holding $2,700 and closing above $2,730 would preserve the ETH recovery. Reclaiming $2,750 would then place $2,810 liquidity directly in focus.
Losing roughly $2,700 would weaken the absorption structure. Similarly, a break below $2,665-$2,670 would invalidate the current technical progression.
Weaker selling keeps the upside sequence active, but confirmation remains level-dependent. Buyers must clear $2,730 and reclaim $2,750 before $2,810 becomes the next reference.
The chart marks $2,810 as the primary buy-side liquidity level.
It is the point of control and the first major breakout test.
A sustained four-hour close above $2,730, followed by acceptance above $2,750.
Sell deltas have weakened while the ETH price remains supported inside the imbalance.
Losing $2,700 would damage the structure, while $2,665-$2,670 marks the deeper invalidation zone.
