Ripple President XRP Predictions and Two Major Events for October
A confluence of catalysts is building around XRP. Digital Asset Investor shared a video highlighting bold predictions from Ripple President Monica Long, alongside two major events set to happen before November.
Monica Long’s Comments
Long appeared at XRP Seoul and offered specific forecasts when asked to put on her prediction hat. On tokenized assets on the XRP Ledger, she noted that the figure grew from $100 million at the start of 2025 to $1 billion by year-end, and has since reached $6 billion. Her projection: “I’ll put a 5x multiplier on it, so I’ll say $30 billion.”
On transaction volume, Long was equally aggressive. With the XRPL currently processing 11 million transactions, she put “a 10x on that,” targeting 100 million transactions driven by the agentic economy.
Utility, Liquidity and Trust
Long returned to Ripple’s foundational thinking on what XRP needs to succeed long-term. She cited a framework built around utility, liquidity and trust, describing XRP as “multifaceted in terms of its utility in the context of solving real institutional, real-world problems.”
The interviewer reinforced the point, calling XRP a bridge asset and noting that more tokenized assets and institutional participation create a compounding effect for the network.
The Inflow Math for $10 XRP
Digital Asset Investor highlighted analysis from Zach Rector showing what inflows are required to push XRP to various price targets. To reach $10, the estimate sits at $1.1 billion to $10.7 billion in exchange inflows. Digital Asset Investor called those numbers “crazy when you think about it” and said the data made him more bullish than he could express.
The XRPL already holds a claim to the fastest-growing real-world assets network in the top 10, up 8.84%. Franklin Templeton’s tokenized fund went live on the network and surged over 6,000%, reaching more than $48 million.
October Catalysts on the Calendar
Digital Asset Investor pointed to two events converging in October, both in New York City. Evernorth is set to begin trading on the NASDAQ under the ticker XRP on or around October 8 following its business combination on October 7. Ripple Swell follows at the end of the month, scheduled for October 27 through 29.
The Legal Clarity Advantage
Digital Asset Investor also raised Brad Garlinghouse’s account of how close Ripple came to shutting down when the SEC filed its lawsuit. Garlinghouse confirmed that he and co-founder Chris Larsen considered distributing XRP to shareholders and dissolving the company.
The lawsuit’s resolution has left XRP as, in Digital Asset Investor’s words, “the only digital asset in the United States with legal clarity.”
