On October 6, shares of the U.S. utility company Constellation Energy (CEG.O) rose 3% in pre-market trading to $275.71. Bloomberg, citing informed sources, reported that Google parent company Alphabet (GOOGL.O) is close to reaching a multi-year nuclear energy procurement agreement with the company.
