Chevron Shuts in Production at 5 Gulf of Mexico Facilities Due to Hurricane Isaias
MT newswire2026/10/09 09:5305:53 AM EDT, 10/09/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Chevron (CVX) said Thursday it has shut in production at five Gulf of Mexico facilities due to Hurricane Isaias. The oil and gas explorer said that while it has moved most of its offshore personnel onshore, production continues at its other four platforms in the region. Chevron said it is following storm preparedness procedures at its onshore facilities.
