No final decision has been made, the report said. One of the people told Reuters the airline has considered a fleet of dozens of 787s. Southwest, which currently operates an all-Boeing 737 fleet, has also examined obtaining aircraft through lessors or the secondary market, which could allow it to begin long-haul service sooner, the report said. The companies didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment. (Market Chatter news is derived from conversations with market professionals globally.
