XRP Tests Key Support as Analysts Debate a Rally Toward $2

XRP is at a critical point as analysts assess whether the coin will rebound toward $2 or extend its decline toward $1.00.

XRP is trading at $1.38, down 1.18% over the past 24 hours and 9.5% over the past week. The cryptocurrency has also fallen 24% this year but remains up 25% over the past 90 days.

After retreating from September highs of $1.60–$1.65, XRP found support around $1.30–$1.34. This range is a crucial level that will determine whether the recovery continues or the downtrend resumes.

XRP must break above $1.42 and establish it as support to sustain the bullish outlook. A rejection at this level would expose the price to another decline toward recent lows.

Meanwhile, XRP Dev Bird identified a pattern on XRP’s four-hour chart that points to another potential price rally.

The analyst highlighted three downward-sloping resistance lines. The first two breakouts preceded sharp price increases after XRP established support. Bird expects the third pattern to produce another rally if buyers push the price above resistance.

XRP has support between $1.30 and $1.34, while resistance sits between $1.52 and $1.56. According to Bird, a breakout above this resistance zone opens the path toward $2.00.

At $1.38, XRP needs to gain approximately 45% to reach $2. Before reaching that target, the coin must overcome several resistance levels. The immediate hurdle is $1.42, followed by $1.47. A decisive breakout above the $1.52–$1.56 range would strengthen the bullish outlook and bring the $2 target into focus.

However, not all analysts expect XRP to recover soon. Analyst Casi warned that the cryptocurrency faces further downside despite its recent rebound from $1.32. Her Elliott Wave analysis points to another corrective move, with downside targets at $1.26 and $1.10.

Casi also noted that the Relative Strength Index (RSI), an indicator used to measure price momentum, remains deeply bearish. This signals persistent selling pressure and reinforces the risk of another decline.

The analyst identified $0.98 as a critical support level. A break below this threshold exposes XRP to a further drop toward $0.87, extending the bearish trend and delaying a sustained recovery.

Conversely, holding key support levels would strengthen the case for a rebound and position XRP for another upward move. Essentially, Casi’s bearish forecast contrasts with the more optimistic outlooks of XRP Dev Bird and Celal Kucuker.

XRP faces a decisive test, with support between $1.30 and $1.34 and immediate resistance at $1.42, followed by the $1.52–$1.56 resistance zone. Clearing that range strengthens the bullish case for a rally toward $2.

However, a breakdown below the $1.30–$1.34 support zone exposes XRP to $1.26 and $1.10. A further decline below $0.98 opens the path toward $0.87.

Nobel laureate warns: French debt crisis may be "too big to save," eurozone faces "explosive" crisis

France's debt has reached €3.6 trillion, accounting for 119% of its GDP—the highest level since the creation of the euro. Paul Krugman, the 2008 Nobel Prize winner in Economics, warned that France is on a path of "fiscal unsustainability" and may have gone from "too big to fail" to the dangerous position of being "too big to be rescued." Its eurozone membership could trigger an "explosive debt crisis" and deliver a destructive blow to European integration.
