XRP Reportedly Hits $0.10 on A Major Asian Exchange, XRP Army Reacts
To put that figure into perspective, XRP hasn’t been anywhere near $0.10 since July 2020, when it hit a low of $0.1742.
A drop to that level from where it sits today would represent a loss of more than 90% of its value. XRP traded at $1.35 at the time of the analysis and currently trades at $1.39.
How the Community Responded
Reactions to the post went in every direction. Some people were excited, some were confused, and others disagreed.
XRP Glitches Usually Go the Other Way
XRP has a long history of price display errors, but they almost always send the price flying upward. A glitch in June sent XRP to $62,032, but nobody could trade at that price. This report is different because the price supposedly fell as it would during a flash crash, rather than up. That direction stands out from the glitches the community is used to hearing about.
The Technical Side
Glitches like this typically come down to data feed errors, brief order book imbalances, or system malfunctions on the exchange side. On a platform that processes large volumes of transactions, distorted prices can appear for a few seconds before correcting.
Some glitches have sent XRP as high as $10 million, but no actual trades take place at those prices. No confirmed trade data is showing XRP at $0.10, and the original post still hasn’t named the exchange where it supposedly happened.
