Cisco Systems Names Girish Rishi to Board of Directors

04:26 PM EDT, 10/09/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Cisco Systems (CSCO) said late Friday it has appointed Girish Rishi to its board of directors, effective Friday. Rishi currently serves as chairman and chief executive officer of Cognite, an industrial AI company, and senior advisor at Blackstone, Cisco said. Rishi has also been serving on the board of Insight Enterprises since 2017, the company said.
