Lockheed Martin Debuts PAC-3 Edge Interceptor for the US Army
MT newswire2026/10/09 20:4604:46 PM EDT, 10/09/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Lockheed Martin (LMT) said late Friday it debuted its PAC-3 Edge interceptor as part of the US Army's Future Interceptor program, which aims to bolster capabilities against hypersonic and advanced missile threats. The interceptor, which leverages the company's PAC-3 MSE technology, is part of the Army's Future Interceptor program, the company said. Lockheed Martin will begin testing the interceptor in 2027 to prepare for rapid deployment by 2031, according to a statement.
