CME Group Says Cloud Migration Running Ahead of Schedule

05:50 PM EDT, 10/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- CME Group (CME) said construction of its Aurora Cloud Region and co-location facility under its migration initiative is running ahead of schedule with client testing expected in mid-2027, the company said Monday. The facility will host Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google Cloud's specialized platform designed to support trading of CME markets. The livestock markets are expected to migrate to the Aurora Cloud Region in late 2027, CME said. The company completed initial performance testing of CME Globex in the cloud as part of the broader migration effort.
