SUI Chart Projects a Rally Through Late 2027

  • SUI has entered consolidation after reaching four shorter-term upside targets, while its weekly chart projects further gains through late 2027.
  • The forecasted trajectory involves a correction in early 2028 and an additional rally contingent on price movements following that.
  • SUI’s descending trendline and recent trading conditions offer useful reference points for assessing whether the longer-term forecast gains support.

The long-term chart of SUI shows a potential recovery with an imminent upside move by the end of 2027, followed by a correction in 2028, and then an upside move in the year ahead.

SUI Consolidation Follows Four Completed Targets

The graph shows the token’s rally in 2024 followed by a long downward trend. Price has established lower highs below a declining white trendline for a majority of 2025. This trend was indicative of continued pressure and a lack of any upward momentum.

But the long-term downtrend eventually ended with a long consolidation period at the lows. Price moved sideways rather than down as before. This formation can be a reversal formation but it by itself does not indicate accumulation.

Blue markings identify two areas associated with earlier price-cycle movements. These references suggest similarities between previous market phases and the developing formation. Nevertheless, historical patterns cannot establish whether the projected cycle will repeat.

SUI Needs a Breakout to Confirm Recovery

The projected pathway indicates a gradual recovery then potentially an acceleration in 2027. The expansion forecast in late 2010 is preceded by several pullbacks and pauses. Therefore, the prognosis is for several phases, not continuous progression.

The downtrendline is also a significant technical level in this pattern. If this long-term downtrend appears to be losing its momentum, a continuation of the breakout may be a sign of it. A rebound in weekly highs and a positive retest would be further signs of momentum building.

The shorter-term spot chart showed SUI trading near $1.09, down 2.79% over 24 hours. Price approached support around 1.08–1.09 after recording successive lower highs and lows. Meanwhile, resistance remained near $1.10 and the 1.11–1.12 region.

The perpetual liquidation chart provides further context about leveraged market activity. A large short-liquidation spike appeared around May 8, alongside repeated long-liquidation events. Additional liquidation clusters emerged during August, September, and early October as price movements intensified.

The 2028 Correction Could Precede Another Rally

The forecast timeframe calls for a correction around the first half of 2028. This is a retracement after the expected advance, and prior to a further possible expansion. Its depth would help determine whether the broader projected structure remains intact.

A relatively controlled decline could allow price to establish another support base. Before the up-trend would return, buyers would have to establish the appropriate levels. A downturn below the projected support level would erode the recovery outlook.

The last portion shows another powerful move after the expected correction. This pathway presents two potential expansion phases separated by a period of retracement. However, neither the timing nor the magnitude of these movements is confirmed.

Recent spot-market weakness provides a separate measure of the challenges facing the projected recovery. Price previously struggled to regain nearby resistance after approaching the $1.09 area. A sustained rebound would provide stronger evidence of improving conditions than temporary upward movements.

The liquidation data also shows that leveraged positions remain exposed during volatile market phases. Forced closures can accompany rapid price movements in either direction. So the simple fact of a liquidation swing does not constitute a bull market.

The chart represents a potential multi-year recovery but not market outcome. If the price breaks above the resistance trend, then the technical scenario is strengthened for further rallies. The estimated rally to 2027 and then comeback in 2028 is still dependent on price until proof of development.

60% of stocks have fallen into a bear market, the seven tech giants are holding up the S&P alone! BTIG: US stocks may be just a "gentle push" away from collapsing

The S&P 500 is just one step away from its all-time high, but under the surface, turbulence is brewing: 60% of its components have already entered a technical bear market, and only 30% have outperformed the index, the lowest since 1991. All of this is being supported solely by the seven major tech giants—which is, in fact, the biggest risk. With crowded positions and the semiconductor sector mirroring the path of the 2000 bubble burst, an accelerated decline could be triggered during the upcoming earnings season at the end of the month. When the market is standing on just one final leg, it doesn't take much force to topple it.
