Petrobras to receive $859 Million as Part of Partnership in Consortium With Shell, TotalEnergies, Petrogal

06:15 AM EDT, 10/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Petrobras (PBR) will receive $859 million after it signing cost and volume balancing agreements with its partners in the BM-S-11A Consortium, Shell (SHEL), TotalEnergies (TTE), and Petrogal, in connection with the Berbigao and Sururu shared reservoirs, the company said Tuesday. The amount will be settled by November, the company said. Under the concession agreement, the shares reservoirs are operated by Petrobras with a 42.5% stake, in partnership with Shell, which has 25%, TotalEnergies with 22.5% and Petrogal with 10%), the company said.
