01:05 PM EDT, 10/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Tech stocks were lower Thursday afternoon, with the State Street Technology Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLK) falling 1.4% and the State Street SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) dropping 2.6%. The Philadelphia Semiconductor index shed 2.6%. In corporate news, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSM) shares fell 2.8% after it Q4 gross margin outlook indicated a sequential decline at the midpoint, while its revenue guidance came in ahead of market expectations.
