Cardano price prediction for October 20 stays bullish above $0.2198, the support ADA needs to hold after last week’s sell-off.
ADA is holding its rising trendline for now, with price at $0.2209, trading flat today, sitting on the line from the June low and just above the 100-day EMA at $0.2198. A daily close below that area would lose both supports at once.
Overhead resistance is heavy, with ADA trading under the 50-day EMA at $0.2288, the 20-day at $0.2346 and the 200-day at $0.2399. RSI at 41.45 sits below the neutral 50 mark after a bearish divergence near the early-October high, a sign that the push to that high lacked momentum.
ADA looks more likely to test $0.2288 than to lose the trendline on October 20, and a daily close below $0.2198 would change that view.
| Type | Price | Why it matters |

| Support | $0.2198 | 100-day EMA, beside rising trendline |
| Support | $0.2132 | 0.5 Fibonacci level |
| Support | $0.1954 | 0.382 Fibonacci level |
LuckSide said analysts made the same call on April 7, 2025. Crypto dipped at first but finished that day green, and Bitcoin later rallied more than 60% to $126K. On oil, LuckSide said US prices have slipped back below $100 after Iran’s foreign minister said the Strait of Hormuz would open within seven days if the US accepts Iran’s conditions. Similar proposals have made little progress before.
Analyst Giannis Andreou said ADA’s recovery from the $0.14 to $0.16 zone resembles a rounded base on the weekly chart, with a handle that could form below $0.278.
A cup and handle is a bullish pattern in which a rounded recovery is followed by a brief pullback before a possible breakout. Andreou said the setup needs a weekly close above $0.278 and a successful retest, and that it stays unconfirmed until then.
| Level | What Andreou flagged |
| $0.278 | Weekly close and retest needed to confirm |
| $0.3633 | First breakout target |
| $0.3995 | Second breakout target |
| $0.416 | Approximate target from the cup’s depth |
Andreou added that losing rising support would weaken the setup and a breakdown below the $0.14 to $0.16 base would undermine it.
Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson said he is personally developing a new programming language for the network, according to BSCN. It will support intents, which let users state the result they want and leave the steps to the network, and proof-carrying data built on Groth16 proofs, a type of zero-knowledge proof. Hoskinson has not shared its name, technical details or a release date, and Cardano already supports smart contract languages including Plutus and Aiken.
Hoskinson has also made two broader claims about Cardano. In a post shared by trader Scott Melker, he said he is working on a concept that only Midnight (NIGHT) can bring to crypto and that solves most of the industry’s problems. Meanwhile, LuckSide Crypto relayed another comment in which he said Cardano will be essentially complete once the Leios upgrade launches.
ADA holds above $0.2198, closes above the 50-day EMA at $0.2288 and clears the 0.618 Fibonacci level at $0.2310. That would put the 20-day EMA at $0.2346 in play, with the 200-day EMA at $0.2399 next if it breaks. A sell-off that fades quickly, as LuckSide Crypto says happened in April 2025, would fit this path.
ADA closes below the trendline and 100-day EMA at $0.2198 and slides toward the 0.5 Fibonacci level at $0.2132. A daily close below that level would expose the 0.382 Fibonacci level at $0.1954, and the crash calls playing out would fit this path.
ADA could extend toward $0.2288 and then $0.2346 if it holds above $0.2198. Losing that level risks a slide toward the 0.5 Fibonacci level at $0.2132.
ADA lost 12.29% last week, its worst week since August, according to LuckSide Crypto, which described the drop as a pullback after the latest rally during a market-wide washout. Analysts including Crypto Rover are now flagging oil above $100, rising bond yields and hot inflation as risks for crypto.
Analyst Giannis Andreou says a weekly close above $0.278 followed by a successful retest would confirm a cup and handle pattern and put $0.3633 and $0.3995 in focus. Until then he describes the pattern as unconfirmed.
Founder Charles Hoskinson said he is developing one that supports intents and proof-carrying data, according to BSCN. He has not shared its name, specifications or release date.
