Обновленная версия 1 - Сообщается, что Firmus рассматривает возможность корректировки плана IPO на 5 миллиардов долларов, акции австралийской компании Maas Group упали на 30%.
Reuters, October 8 – On Thursday, reports emerged that Nvidia-supported AI company Firmus is considering adjusting the terms of its highly anticipated 5 billions IPO, causing shares of Australian Maas Group MGH.AX to plummet by 30%. The stock fell to 4.47 Australian dollars, marking its largest intraday drop and the lowest point since May 6, evaporating the market value of the construction services company by about 694 millions AUD (483.37 millions USD). More details: Maas holds a 3.2% stake in the data center operator. Earlier, in early August, it pledged an additional investment of 300 millions AUD through common and preferred shares priced at 230 AUD each (link). In an exchange announcement, Maas stated that speculation over whether the IPO will proceed as scheduled has pressured market sentiment and added that it does not possess any undisclosed information to explain the current situation. Firmus lists OpenAI as an anchor client and is preparing the second-largest IPO in Australian history (link). Earlier this week, reports suggested the company may lower the offering price from 11 AUD per share. If the listing is successful, it will be the largest IPO in Australia in nearly thirty years, second only to the 1997 IPO by telecommunications operator Telstra TLS.AX, which raised about 10 billions USD. Prior to Thursday’s plunge, Maas Group shares had risen about 44% in the past 12 months, as investors value its connection with AI-driven data center construction. Firmus has not immediately responded to Reuters’ request for comment.
