Sunday check on the big four. BTC sitting at ~$79.8k again. Still can’t hold $80k for more than a few minutes. Every tap gets sold. Until it actually closes above that level, this is just a range. ETH is quietly doing better than Bitcoin today. Around $2,500 and holding. Not explosive, but it looks healthier than BTC right now. SOL is the only one actually moving. Up a couple percent while the rest are dead. First sign of life I’ve seen in this group all weekend. XRP still just sitting at $1.42. Same story for days. Not breaking down, not going anywhere either. Market’s thin because it’s Sunday. Next week’s inflation data is what everyone is waiting for. Until then I wouldn’t overthink these small green candles. Watching $78.5k on BTC. Lose that and the weekend calm disappears fast. Not advice. Just what I’m seeing on the chart. $BTC $ETH $XRP

1. 🪙 Bitcoin (BTC) Update Weekly Closing & 50 WMA: BTC is currently trading very close to the 50 Weekly Moving Average (50 WMA). If the weekly candle closes above this level within the next 19–20 hours, it could provide a significant advantage to the bulls and support further upside. Bull Market Confirmation: If Bitcoin breaks the previous weekly highs around 81,400 and 82,831, we can have greater confidence that the market has turned fully bullish and that a new bull market may be beginning. Daily Chart & Golden Cross: A Golden Cross on the Daily Chart appears to be very close, potentially occurring within the next 2–4 days. Once confirmed, the market could become even more bullish, with Bitcoin potentially moving toward the 85K level before making a retest. Daily Divergence & Downside Target: A divergence is also developing on the Daily Chart. If a red candle forms and breaks its low around the 78.7K level, the divergence could be confirmed, creating a possibility of a downside move toward 74.5K. Short-Term (1-Hour Chart): A Rising Wedge pattern is currently visible on the 1-hour chart. Since weekend breakouts can often turn out to be fakeouts, traders should remain cautious. If the price reaches the Golden Pocket zone, takes out the lower lows, and then closes back above the level, it could provide a good Long Entry opportunity. 2. 💎 Ethereum (ETH) Update ETH is currently trading above the previous weekly candle's closing high, which is a very bullish sign. If the weekly candle closes at this level, a potential Long or Spot buying opportunity could emerge during a future retest. 3. ☀️ Solana (SOL) Update SOL is already showing a bullish structure on the Weekly timeframe and has successfully retested the 106 support zone. If Bitcoin breaks through its resistance, SOL could potentially move toward the 118–119 levels relatively easily. 4. 🔶 Binance Coin (BNB) Update BNB has experienced a significant pump over the past few days. Historically, BNB has sometimes shown strong moves when a market correction is approaching, although this does not happen every time. If the weekly candle closes in its current structure, the chart would remain bullish, and a good Long Entry could potentially be considered during a retest. ⚠️ Important Advice: Weekend market movements can sometimes be misleading. $BTC TL;DR The Cosmos EVM incident shows that a fix can stop an exploit without reversing its economic effects. Attackers moved about $5.72 million through decentralized and centralized exchanges. Recent incidents at SubQuery, Zilliqa and Hyperbridge show why recovery, disclosure and independent audits remain central to protecting token holders. A patched blockchain exploit can still matter after developers close the technical weakness. The Cosmos EVM incident shows why stopping an attack is different from restoring holders’ prior economic conditions. According to the Cosmos Security post-mortem, attackers exchanged about $2.87 million of stolen assets on decentralized exchanges and sold an estimated $2.85 million through centralized exchanges. The flaw made legitimate vesting tokens accessible earlier than intended. Why A Patched Blockchain Exploit Can Outlast The Patch Vesting restrictions are part of token design. Cosmos EVM’s bug did not create new units, but it changed when restricted tokens could enter the market. Once extracted assets reached trading venues, software updates could stop another exploit without reversing transactions or restoring the previous liquidity profile. Other incidents show similar effects. SubQuery reported five transactions draining 382,433,441 SQT tokens, worth about $134,000 at the time, from pooled staking balances, stakers and delegators, deployment boosters and its treasury. Its response includes retiring the legacy environment and migrating holders to Zilliqa EVM. These cases show why holder impact cannot be reduced to price. Losses can involve staking, treasury resources, migration and trading activity. A protocol can become technically safer while some holders remain economically worse off. Security Response Matters Beyond Closing The Code Gap Hyperbridge offers a useful example of rapid containment. After an attacker exploited its MMR verifier and drained the Token Gateway, the gateway was paused within hours and a permanent patch was deployed in under 72 hours. A subsequent independent audit identified 14 vulnerabilities, including one critical issue, all of which the project says were remediated. Rapid containment and independent review can therefore remain important even after the immediate exploit is stopped. The broader crypto lesson is constructive. Open-source infrastructure lets researchers and developers inspect failures, coordinate upgrades and improve defenses across the ecosystem. Ethereum’s bug-bounty program offers rewards of up to $1 million for qualifying protocol, client and compiler bugs, creating incentives to find serious flaws before attackers do.
