All Three Major U.S. Stock Indexes Close Higher, Core Scientific Surges Over 33%

Both the Nasdaq and S&P 500 recorded their second-highest closing levels in history. Most large-cap tech stocks rose, with Netflix, Amazon, and Meta gaining over 2%, Microsoft, Google, and Intel rising more than 1%, and Nvidia posting a slight increase; Apple and Tesla saw slight declines. Unmanned aircraft system (UAS) developer AeroVironment Inc. (AVAV) surged about 16%, reaching a record closing high. A certain cryptocurrency exchange rose more than 5.5%, marking its highest close since 2021. Major digital asset mining facility operator Core Scientific Inc. (CORZ) jumped over 33%, achieving its best single-day performance in the past year.
