Opening Remarks at the Conference

I am grateful for the opportunity to speak at today's conference and appreciate the warm hospitality extended to me here in Skopje. It is an honor to engage with distinguished central bankers and former colleagues as we discuss the complex issues currently confronting those responsible for macroeconomic and financial policy.

This morning, my focus will be on a familiar topic: how monetary policy is shaped in times of uncertainty. Given the extensive discussion this subject has already received, I acknowledge that offering a truly novel perspective may be challenging. Therefore, please temper your expectations accordingly.
