Tom Lee: "Crypto Spring" is approaching, maintaining the goal of achieving 5% ETH allocation by the end of 2026
Foresight News reports that BitMine Chairman Tom Lee stated that ETH is currently above $2100. If it closes above this level at the end of the month, it will mark a three-month consecutive rise that has not occurred during the crypto bear market, serving as a confirmation signal that the "crypto spring" has officially arrived. He also pointed out that ETH's price trends are highly correlated with software stocks, both trending upward in recent months, and the recovery of software stocks further supports this view.
Lee said that the company has decided to slow down its weekly accumulation pace from over 100 thousand ETH, because at the original pace, it would achieve its target of holding 5% of the total ETH supply by mid-July ahead of schedule, whereas the initial plan was to reach this target by the end of 2026. He also mentioned that since 2026, BitMine has accumulated over 1 million ETH, which is equivalent to removing 4.3% of ETH from circulating supply since June 2025, resulting in a deflationary trend for ETH supply beginning from June 2025.
