Rick Kanda of The Gold Bullion Company stated in a report: “I think the prediction of $6,000 per ounce may be a bit out of reach.” “However, if global central banks maintain their momentum in purchasing gold, it is very likely that the gold price could reach the $5,000 per ounce mark.” Kanda also pointed out that macroeconomic factors have changed, making gold less attractive as a safe-haven asset than last year.
